Returns, Exchanges & Cancellation Policy

At Bbaawri, every piece is crafted with intention — rooted in artisan tradition and made for women who value quality, authenticity, and conscious living. We stand behind our work. This policy is designed to be clear, fair, and respectful of both your time and ours.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

1. Return & Exchange Eligibility

We accept returns and exchanges on eligible items within 5 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.
  • All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact.
  • Returns without prior written approval will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender.
  • Items damaged through normal wear and tear are not eligible for return or exchange.

2. What Can Be Returned or Exchanged

Eligible Items

  • Standard-sized, non-discounted products purchased at full price.
  • Products must fall within the same product category for an exchange.
  • A single exchange request may cover only one SKU.
  • Defective product and wrong product 

Non-Eligible Items

  • Sale or discounted items — all sale purchases are final.
  • Custom or handmade orders — these are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.
  • Items that have already been exchanged once (considered customised at that point).
  • International orders, unless the product is defective or an incorrect item/size was shipped.

3. How Exchanges Work

We recommend returning the original item for store credit and placing a new order for the desired style or size. This ensures the fastest resolution and the widest selection.

  • Exchanges are accepted for store credit only (not cash refunds).
  • Store credit is issued upon receipt and inspection of the returned item.
  • Store credit is valid for 10 days from the date of issuance.
  • Exchanges are limited to the same product category and cannot include multiple SKUs in a single request.
  • Any product exchanged once is considered customised and is not eligible for a further exchange.

4. Faulty or Defective Items

We take quality seriously. If you receive a damaged or defective product, here is what we offer:

  • Refunds for defective items will be processed via the original payment method within 10 working days of us receiving and verifying the returned item.
  • Where possible, we will offer to repair the faulty item.
  • If you prefer an exchange for a defective item, we can replace it with the same product in the same size, subject to availability.

Please note: Colour variation due to monitor calibration does not constitute a defect. We make every effort to display colours accurately, but screen settings vary.

5. Return Shipping

In the case of a buyer-initiated return or exchange, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • We recommend using a trackable courier service for all return shipments.
  • Bbaawri is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.

6. Cancellations

We can accommodate cancellation requests before your order has been dispatched from our warehouse. Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

7. Refunds

Bbaawri does not offer cash refunds on general returns. Store credit is issued in place of refunds for eligible exchanges.

  • Refunds apply only to defective or incorrectly shipped items.
  • Refunds are processed through the original mode of payment within 10 working days of verification.

8. Gift Orders

  • If an item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to the recipient, store credit will be issued to the recipient upon a valid return.
  • If the order was not marked as a gift or was shipped to the purchaser first, any applicable store credit will be issued to the original buyer.
